‘Delicate Expressions’
September 11 - November 15, 2025
Jewelry Artist’ Reception: October 16, 2025, 5-7 pm
The Lighthouse ArtCenter, 373 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida
I’m very honored and excited to be included in this thoughtful collection of works. ‘My History Is My Treasure’ celebrates one’s personal story and appreciates the treasures of strength, beauty and value while embracing the whole of the journey.
Stop by and see this intriguing show! Karen Tucker Kuykendall’s work will be on display along with select jewelry works “that reflect a shared interest in intimacy, close looking and the interplay between natural beauty and personal meaning. Each work invites the viewers to consider adornment not only for decoration, but as a form of storytelling and quiet complexity.” If you can’t make it, click here for digital catalog.
‘My History Is My Treasure’ - Acrylic on natural lightning whelk with chrysocolla, agate, moonstone, crystal and 14/20 GF findings. A one-of-a-kind wearable art piece inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi that repairs the broken with gold. The brokenness is not hidden or glossed over, but rather embraced and highlighted, adding value while celebrating the idea that it is stronger and more beautiful because of the journey. This art necklace is the final piece of the ‘Treasures’ series of KintsugiGrace® shells on semi-precious stone necklaces
